Note on sampling procedure
For articles or convention papers, one randomly selected reference was selected per paper or article. For books, up to two randomly selected references per book could be counted. Designated references that could not be identified were excluded (that is, no substitution from the same source was included). All articles, papers, and books were in the possession of the author or the library at the University of Texas at Arlington, and all were from the last seven years. No articles from "The Polls" section of Public Opinion Quarterly are included here. |
