The Study Data

The Gallup data are based on telephone interviews with 1,018 adults (ages 18 or older) contacted on February 22-25, 2007. Respondents were randomly drawn from Gallup's nationally representative household panel, which was originally recruited through random selection methods. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95 percent confidence that the margin of sampling error is ±4 percentage points. The purpose of the survey (Project #150168) was to gauge opinions toward both Democratic and Republican presidential candidates, as well as examine beliefs about what role(s) Bill Clinton should take on if Hillary Clinton were to win the presidency.
