Table 6 questions

Which of these statements comes closest to describing your feelings about the Bible? You can just give me the number of your choice.
1. The Bible is the actual word of God and is to be taken literally, word for word.
2. The Bible is the word of God but not everything in it should be taken literally, word for word.
3. The Bible is a book written by men and is not the word of God.

Lots of things come up that keep people from attending religious services even if they want to.
Thinking about your life these days, do you ever attend religious services, apart from occasional weddings, baptisms or funerals?
(IF YES):
Do you go to religious services EVERY WEEK, ALMOST EVERY WEEK, ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH, A FEW TIMES A YEAR, or NEVER?

Survey: American National Election Studies; 2004 Pre-Post Election Study (Center for Political Studies, Institute for Social Research, The University of Michigan).

Questions are taken from two time periods: before and after the 2004 elections. The “pre” questions were asked from September 7-November 1, 2005. The “post” questions were asked from November 3-December 20, 2005.
