Great Britain, the Netherlands), ex-Socialist and non-Catholic (Bulgaria,
Russia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Latvia, and East Germany), and
Japan. Those countries with the highest belief in religious miracles are
predominately Catholic (Portugal, Chile, the Philippines, Italy, Ireland,
Austria), some countries with large Catholic minorities (USA and West
Germany), Cyprus (the only Orthodox country that is not ex-Socialist),
and Israel.
