Coming next month to POP—
Howard Schuman
The March issue of Public Opinion Pros
will mark the first appearance of an occasional column
by Howard Schuman, professor and research scientist
emeritus at the University of Michigan.
Professor Schuman is a sociologist best
known for his experimental work on the question-answer
process, and is the author of survey-based books and
articles on a wide range of subjects.
He is a former editor of Public Opinion
Quarterly and the 1994 recipient of the AAPOR Award
for Exceptionally Distinguished Achievement, given by
the American Association for Public Opinion Research.
We are glad to have Howard Schuman
on board with us at Public Opinion Pros for as
long as he would like to stick around. Look for his
column in next month's POP!
